The evolution of mobile phones has been pivotal over the years and one can observe great improvements in terms of design, performance and functionality with every other generation. It is a thing of the past when phone users used only basic cell phones as it was in the past. Over the years, smart phones have come a long way in bending what is termed as normal, incorporating some features that include high-definition cameras, facial recognition and even wireless charging. When I look the future of mobile tech, the next gratifying wave will certainly arise any innovations like flexible displays with larger screens without losing its compactness, improved 5G technology, artificial intelligent features that make phones not only smarter and more user-friendly but also able to perform more functions than before. Moreover, it will not be surprising to see extensive use of augmented reality (AR) technology, more surgically advanced biometry, and even healthcare-linked applications that will help to turn the phone into a wearable health device. With such transformation in the mobile tech space, the enhancement in the future of smartphones will go a long way in changing how people communicate, carry out their duties, and engage with the external environment.
